What is Tamba-yaki?
Tamba-yaki, which has been produced in Tamba-Sasayama, Hyogo Prefecture for 800 years, is a historic pottery known as one of the Six Ancient Kilns of Japan. It has also been certified as a Japanese Heritage Site. The decorations, which are made by scraping the surface of the base material using tools such as spatulas and planes, have a rustic atmosphere and a modern impression, and are characterized by designs that fit into everyday life. Perhaps due to the rich natural environment, the designs are created with "free expression," and each kiln has its own unique personality. The unique coloring is beautiful and has a presence in a calm atmosphere. Tamba-yaki has a long history, and the techniques have been passed down to the present day, and it is close to our lives.
丹波焼【たんばやき】とは？
兵庫県丹波篠山市で800年続く「丹波焼 」は、日本六古窯と呼ばれる歴史ある焼き物です。
日本遺産にも認定されています。
ヘラやカンナなどの道具を使い、素地の表面を削って作る装飾は素朴な雰囲気とモダンな印象を併せ持ち、生活に馴染むデザインが特徴です。
自然豊かな風土からか自由な表現によって作られ、デザインは窯元によって個性が見られます。
独特な発色が美しく、落ち着いた雰囲気の中にも存在感があります。
長い歴史を持つ丹波焼は現代にも技法が受け継がれ、私たちの生活に寄り添っています。

ご使用に関するご注意とお願い
- 割れ、欠け等の破損が発生しやすいので、運搬や施工時は取り扱いにご注意位ください。
- 洗面ボウルを設置する際は、必ず天板との間にコーキング用のシール処理を施してください。
- 専用の排水金具をご使用ください。排水穴に合わない排水金具を使用すると、漏水などが起こる恐れがあります。
- 使用しない時は排水金具の排水栓をは開けておいてください。誤って水栓から吐水した場合、水が溢れ家財に損害を与える恐れがあります。
- 排水金具取付け後は水を流し、必ず漏れが無いか確認してください。
- 排水金具のボウル内及びナット部分にシリコーン系コーキング剤で防水処理を施してください。 ※排水金具の下部パッキンの内径当り面は構造上ナット接合部の為ねじ形状となる為、コーキング処理が無いと排水時に水が漏れる可能性があります。
